At ECCA2023: Timelines on the edge tapestry

16 June 2023

Timelines on the edge is a work of collaboration between 10 tapestry weavers, designed and woven in Wexford over a two year period. Each section or line was designed by an individual, then collectively woven. The tapestry represents the unsettling aspects of climate change, highlighted by a central globe sitting out of sync with the surrounding elements. Each artist has expressed their unease with an aspect of the global climate crises.

The Timeline weavers : Joan Baxter, Muriel Beckett, Tish Canniffe, Frances Crowe, Pascale De Coninck, Lorna Donlon, Terry Dunne, Frances Leach, Catherine Ryan, Heather Underwood.
